COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this hands-on course students develop, produce, shoot, and edit a series of short films, learning the technicalities and structure of filmmaking along the way. Topics include camera operation, sound, lighting, nonsynchronous recording, and short-film genres. Students pay for film stock and processing; camera and editing equipment are provided by MassArt.
